PreTrip:
August 24 2009 - I made a promo for Dave Brown and the Flying Air Circus.
August 13 2009 - Kyde and I are going on a trip. We leave on August 31st and don't have a return date set, but it's going to be a while. Here's a rough outline of where we will be going:
*Early in the morning of August 31st we will fly from DC to Costa Rica. My parents have recently moved there and we will be going down to check out their place and hopefully see a bit more of Costa Rica in general. They live on the Caribbean side of the country near the town of Peurto Limon.
*On the 10th of September we will be flying to JFK airport in NYC. We will be getting a room overnight near the airport and resting in preparation of our flight out of JFK in the evening of Sept 11th (dun dun dun!). This flight will take us 9593 miles in 24 hours and 35 minutes to Bangkok Thailand. We have layovers in Alaska and Taiwan that are around 2 hours each, so total flying time will be around 20 hours. In coach. Did I mention I'm six foot seven? Fun!
For the next stage I will include a map so it's easy to follow along.
*We will land in Bangkok, Thailand on September 13th at around noon local time. We have a 90 day visa to travel within Thailand, but doubt we will be there that long. Perhaps a few weeks, and then will work our way south onto the Malaysian peninsula and down to Singapore. From Singapore we will head to Cambodia via a (cheap) Air Asia flight, spend some time (a couple of weeks) in Cambodia before entering Vietnam. After Vietnam things get a little foggy on where we will go next, but it has been indicated to us that getting a Chinese Visa from the northern Vietnamese consolate is pretty hard so we suspect a flight to Hong Kong our of Vietnam where it will be much easier to gain entry into China. Other places we may or may not end up are: Taiwan, South Korea, Japan (it's soooo expensive!) and India.
I will be updating things on this page as we go along, and posting links in facebook and soforth so it's easy to keep an eye on us. We will be doing a majority of our updates via a youtube journal so don't worry about having to read a bunch of stuff if you want to keep up. Also, if anyone wants to meet up with us anywhere for some adventuring, email me or something!

June 15 2009 - Kyde and I made videos of our Aerobatic flights with Dave Brown yesterday.

May 06 2009 - I made friends with a fuzzy bug. His feet were like suction cups, you could feel them pop off my skin when he walked.
April 16 2009 - Last weekend Kyde arranged a bouncy castle party. It was totally amazing.

March 02 2009 - The best part of this is this snowman is RIGHT ON THE CURB of my street. Also, I was home alone today so to get this picture I needed to put a stool in the street with the camera on top, set the 10 second self timer and hold that stupid pose for way too long. As I'm waiting for the thing to go off the neighbors across the street that I have avoided talking to for no good reason for the past 7 years walked outside and see me doing that...with that. Epic.
